Welcome weary traveler!

This is thoughts with corgo, an infrequent newsletter about my musings in the world. While it has the possibility to be about anything, they probably fall under the realm of things I’m interested in, broadly defined as:

  • mediums for interactive storytelling: I’ve been a gamer for a while, a writer for a little bit, and an illustrator for even shorter. I’m interested in the ways that different forms of media lend themselves to telling stories and the benefits and drawbacks that we get from them

  • food and drinks (for thought): I’ve been baking and cooking for almost my whole life. I’m obsessed with the process of making it, the people behind it, and the system that it fits within.

  • tools for creativity: As someone who sits on the computer all day, what are the ways in which we’re able to push the boundaries of computing (and life)??

If any of those things sound interesting, subscribe!

If you want a more formal declaration / classifications, I would say I’m a creative technologist with a degree in applied math and computer science currently living in SF! I’m passionate about making work that allows people to explore the edges of their imagination and make life easier. Currently, I’m helping out at Reboot as the Fellowship Lead and shape rotator.

Previously, I’ve bounced around between a variety of places, but have built data visualizations and pipelines at Ask Iggy, consumer banking solutions at Blend, geolocation tools and crm’s at Intus Care, started a product and design studio at Brown, built better messaging at IDEO CoLab, and started a queer investing track at Dorm Room Fund. I’ve also done a LOT of other miscellaneous things so we’ll probably have something to chat about.
